Ever wonder what Alli K Design and Whataburger have in common?? Books! Last week we hosted an Alli K book launch party and I’m so excited to be bringing my two newest art books into the world. As a Dallas artist and author, this has been the coolest collaboration!
The collab with Whataburger started back in 2023, so it’s crazy to think that the books are finally launching! I created two books total for the collab. One is for adults: WhataWorld: An Adult Coloring Book and one is for kids: How to Draw Everything Whataburger!
The WhataWorld Adult Coloring Book is filled with lots of fun mid-century-meets-futurism drawings and was designed to celebrate the history of Texas’ favorite burger joint. I hid little “W”s on each page – which at first was unintentional but then I noticed it was happening so I decided to run with it! The pages are even removable so you can display them as artwork in your home if you’d like.

I absolutely love creating kids’ drawing books, and am really excited about how this one turned out. It has over 35 projects and teaches kids to draw all things Whataburger – from patty melts and onion rings to Whatachick’n strips and fries! The steps are easy to follow, and kids as young as 5 can enjoy the book.

If you know me you know I love to throw a good party. So I had to go all out for this huge collaboration!! We had so many freebies and activities – more than any launch party I’ve ever done. The best part – Whataburger donated $5,000 to the Richardson ISD program in my honor.
The Glossary was gracious enough to host the event for us, and Bottega de Flores decorated the space beautifully. For fun, we had caricatures being done live by Free Caricatures, live bandana stitching by W Durable Goods, and The Dallas Party brought a sweet bounce house. We also had a flower bar, Night Owl Coffee, and gluten-free cookies by Confetti Yetti, and live music by Justin Cash!
We had an AMAZING turnout and it was a ton of fun! I’m so thankful to Whataburger for this collab!
As a Dallas artist and author, I’ve been fortunate to publish several adult coloring and kids’ books over the last few years. You can find them all on my website!
