As a Dallas-based mural artist, I truly love traveling to paint murals in different cities, and I can’t believe I finally got to check this one off my bucket list! Getting to paint a Nashville mural was an absolute dream, and I’m so excited to share more about the project today.

Earlier this year, Landon and I headed to Nashville to paint this mural at the Chamberlain apartments in Germantown.
The Chamberlain apartments are named after one of the guys who used to work at the sheep stockyards, which is what the land used to be known for. When my friend Natalie Papier, an interior designer and curator from Home EC., reached out to ask if I’d create a mural for the project, I was so in!
I wanted to create a “Made By” mural that represents all of the people who made the apartment complex possible. So I incorporated elements from Germantown’s history into the design, including a nod to it being called Tree City.
The design tells a story of the community, the land, and all the people who brought this beautiful space to life. It was such a fun project to work on!

I really love working with apartment owners and developers to bring public art to their spaces. It’s such a value-add for the property, and it improves the quality of living for the residents who live there.
The Chamberlain apartments are designed with wellness in mind and have lots of amenities for residents. They have a great gym and wellness area, a fully stocked store for residents, and they’re located in such a desirable neighborhood of Nashville. Adding a mural just makes it even better!
Murals are great for spaces like apartment complexes, because when residents walk through and see art that celebrates their community and its history, it creates a sense of pride and connection. Public art uplifts communities and makes spaces feel really special! And in commercial spaces, it makes people linger longer, which is great for business.

If you’re a developer, apartment owner, or business looking to add meaningful art to your space, whether you’re in Dallas, Nashville, or anywhere else, I’d love to work with you! I’m based in Dallas but absolutely love traveling to create murals that tell your story and elevate your community.
Reach out to me here, and let’s talk about bringing your vision to life!
