You may not know this, but Landon and I LOVE to travel to paint murals. There’s nowhere we wouldn’t go to paint! Traveling is one of our favorite things to do in general, so getting to combine it with work is honestly a dream. This year we’ve been lucky to get to travel for a few different murals so far. So today I’m sharing our latest Austin mural, as well as a few others we’ve traveled for recently!
The biggest project we’ve ever traveled for was in 2024 for the Evermore Resort in Orlando, Florida. That thing was massive and took us a whole month to paint! We then went back in early 2026 to paint some additional smaller murals around the property. That experience was amazing, and I’m so grateful we got the opportunity to paint these murals. So you can imagine how excited I am to be traveling some more this year!

So far in 2026, most of the murals we’ve painted have actually been out of town. We’ve painted in Houston, Austin, and Nashville (which was a bucket list project–I’ll do a future post on this mural and the process soon, so stay tuned!).
The mural we painted in Austin was for an orthodontist’s office, and it might be one of my favorites! I designed it to merge the Texas/western aesthetic with dental elements to suit the office. The teeth are characters in the mural doing classic cowboy activities like lassoing and playing guitar at camp (which is really a floss pick!).
The painted walls in this practice give kids who are in there for their orthodontist appointment something fun to look at while their teeth are worked on. Ortho appointments are tough for kids, so it helps lift the mood a little bit! We loved this one and had a great time down in Austin painting.

The Houston mural we just completed was for the apartment complex’s mail room. The botanical design of this mural really helps to brighten up this otherwise utilitarian space in the apartment. It also gives residents something cheery to welcome them home while they check their mail!

It’s amazing how a little bit of color and art can completely transform a functional space into something people actually enjoy using. Murals are also such a great way to increase the value of your property or space!
While we’re based in Dallas, TX, we really love getting to travel all over for murals. Whether it’s in our home state like the Austin or Houston murals, or across the country like the Nashville or Orlando murals, we’re always down to travel!
